Agave
"American aloe plant," 1797, from Greek Agaue, proper name in mythology (mother of Pentheus), from agauos "noble," perhaps from agasthai "wonder at".

Transplanted to the new place just under a year ago. Had a rough summer, and if feels like it might be working up towards flowering. I am not a huge fan of variegated Agaves, but this one does make my 'like very much' list.
It is what it is!
