Haworthia fasciata planted out..

#1

Post by Stan »

I'm trying to lower my potted plant accumulation..trying to improve this little part of the front yard. I decided once a H.fasciata fills a 8" pot..what else it there to do with it? Its a summer project to reclaim the right side of the front yard. - the left is fine for now.

The dead weeds really make it looked abandoned-lol. When you put the microscope on a yard...
I will get it cleaned out- trim that forward trunk on the Yucca aliofolia so as to help the Aloe speciosa ( little far right thingy) to get going. Fresh lava rock will help too.

I think it looks great. Hopefully nobody will steal it!

Would you like some stinging nettle? We have some extra and it might serve as yard security for ya!

I planted that Synadenium out well over 10 years ago. Pickers cut it back every time it got going --or a frost. Right now,its got a bonsai/driftwood looking trunk that leans on the side- then you see those vertical shoots. I'm sure the big Yucca and Magnolia roots don't help either. I remember seeing a big one in soucal...nice!,oh it should be so easy here.
