Aloe seedlings at a nursery

#1

Post by Steph115 »

Saw some sought-after aloe seedlings at one of the nurseries today. Polyphylla, peglerae, and even erinacea, all in 2 inch pots. Polyphylla looked a little sad to me - etiolated and maybe underwatered. Priced at $15 a piece, otherwise I might have been tempted to rescue them. First time I've ever seen the species for sale in a nursery, though. Erinacea was beautiful but at $30 I couldn't pull the trigger. Came home with two pegleraes for $6 a piece!

I think you're right about the polyphyllas but once they get the right conditions they would recover.

You're probably right. Mine grown from seed have certainly taken a beating and bounced back with flying colors!
