Lost label, but i seem to recalll it may have had DR Kenya on it. Underside of the leaves similar lineate? To the upper surface. Any ideas welcome.

Check out the plant in photo #5, first post. I can imagine a more stressed version looking even closer, with darker color and curled leaf edges...

Yes, thanks, that is a good possibility, i'll check the sap later, see if it is pale greenish as per definitive guide....

matches Aloe immaculata a bit more closely, though flowers match both.
