Very nice Tom, and they do look quite healthy. I am always puzzled by the names these hybrids are given. But I suppose to each his own. I have just returned from two weeks in the Caribbean, and will spend the next twenty four hours examining all my plants, as I have noticed a few have dried in a way which has surprised me. Jkw

DW's Myran Kimnack is mostly milky white. It blooms very much like Lizard Lips, constantly in bloom no matter the time of the year.

Woody, I just love that one. :U :U :U Those weird curving spines, and bumps and spines gobbed on the leaf surfaces coming out all over the place. That's something along the lines I would really love to be breeding.
It's similar to the one I have pictured in the first post, 6th photo, and seedlings from it growing right now (albeit still small - but healthy D)) ). I think that if I keep trying to cross those types together, I should eventually be
able to come up with seedlings that are wickedly delicious like that...

This seedlings looks whiter in the summer when it's outside. It's currently making seeds from Oik pollen.

Red Crush out of Lizard Lips x Bright Star. From Thomas Toomey. The lighing is off. The large green patches on the leaves are white.

Thanks Tom, Yes Dick Wright's Myron Kimnack is awesome. I just harvested seed pods made with pollen from Marsha Layhew.

This is one of the best white hybrids I have, wide leaves with lots of texture. It was bred by a friend of mine here in Brazil. He calls his creation 'Nile Crocodile'. The ridges are quite raised on both sides of the leaves. The plant is in a seven inches pot.

Thanks really nice Marlon, and a seemingly appropriate name. I can kind of imagine the jaws of a croc or two in those leaves there. Do you know the heritage of it?

PS Reminds me a bit of 'Delta Lights', but of course with much more interesting features...

Thank you Tom and Woody, yes I think 'Delta Lights' is in its ancestry. I do not know the actual parents of this one, I will ask my friend.

'Paul Hutchison' is wonderful, and on my wishlist :))

I asked my friend about the parentage of his 'Nile Crocodile' and he told me 'Delta Lights' is the seed parent. Pollen parent unknown.

Nice white seedling from Dick Wright. It seems to get larger than Doran Black and has longer leaves.

Nice plants Woody. It's no secret, but I'm a big fan of the DW hybrids. D))

Marlon, thanks for the info. It's comforting somehow to look at a plant, and to be able to see in it one of the parents. :8:
