Ranking Aloes by Time to Maturity

Here's a project for us impatient gardeners who also don't have the cash to buy big, mature, blooming plants: how would you rank aloes in terms of growth rate and time to blooming? What size do they bloom at? Which plants race to flowering age and size, and which take their sweet old time?
