Wow... that is a gorgeous specimen... that your plant? Has it flowered for you? Not seen any mature plants of that species out here (I know there are some, but have not come across one, yet).

These two Aloes are the same (my) plants. They are grown in shade and look a little bit different. No, they have not bloomed by now but i will visit our local botanical garden soon and will check if the there is one in bloom.

be sure to go back to whereever that is and get it in full flower... maybe in a week to 10 days?

I think this is a beautiful species but a very slow grower. Here's mine that is finally starting to more than less fill it's 3" pot! LOL I guess I have a very long wait before it's big enough to bloom.

Same plant as above, still in same pot (over 4 years), a bit bigger, but still small. Slowest growing aloe I have...
