The plants from Arid Lands they sell as Aloe boiteaui are actually an old 80s hybrid called ‘Reseda Rose’, which you don’t see very often anymore.

Thanks for the explanation. I got a boiteaui from Arid Lands in spring '22. I checked the ID with photos here and elsewhere, but of course couldn't resolve the visual discrepancies. It's so prolific I now have a quantity of name tags to change!
