Offset separated from the original clump grown with more sun exposure

The plants from Arid Lands they sell as Aloe boiteaui are actually an old 80s hybrid called ‘Reseda Rose’, which you don’t see very often anymore.

Thanks for the explanation. I got a boiteaui from Arid Lands in spring '22. I checked the ID with photos here and elsewhere, but of course couldn't resolve the visual discrepancies. It's so prolific I now have a quantity of name tags to change!

I’m not entirely convinced that this is the real thing.
