Cliff-dwelling species from Oman where it is rarely subjected to high heat. Suckering, creeping, pendulous often, smaller aloe with straight, unbendable, somewhat soft thick, somewhat spotted pale green leaves. Flowers are small and white on thin peduncles and tend to decurve (grow downward). Rare plant in cultivation and a bit finicky... has some similar growing needs as Aloe polyphylla- both plants grow in cooler, foggy, mountain conditions with minimal heat, and resent being tried to perform well in inland southern California. Mine did OK for two years but eventually died a slow, sad death.
