Aloe 'Bottlebrush'
A Leo Thamm hybrid. Apparantly, this hybrid can grow to over 6 feet tall. Flowers in late winter. The birdlife here squabble over the nectar from the flowers which leads me to wonder whether some aloes have nicer tasting nectar than others. Have yet to see any branching or offsets. The colour of the buds themselves isn't very intense but the stamens which pop out when they open certainly is.
