This is a stemless, unspotted aloe (though spotted when very young sometimes), yellow-flowering species from Saudi Arabia that is not too rare in cultivation, but generally only grown by aloe enthusiasts due to is somewhat marginal ornamental appeal (dull leaf color- almost a drab grey-brown). It is one of the few summer flowering aloes, though flowering in late spring to summer. Great aloe for very hot climates (like in Arizona) where it thrives in full sun. Flowers are a pale yellow on a simple open solitary to moderately branching racemes. Flowers start out pointing horizontally, but droop very close to the stem once mature.
