Aloe boscawenii

#1

Post by Geoff »

This is a suckering, sprawling Tanzanian aloe with lightly speckled (at least as a young plant) leaves with scalloped edges where the teeth are. Grows to about 2' tall on relatively thin stems. Color of leaves supposed to be light green, but in Southern California only seen those leaves turn a nice chocolate brown (perhaps in shade is lighter green, or with more water). Pretty rare in cultivation so far.
