this is a nice little suckering cultivar with colorful green-brown to brownish purple leaves and pale yellow-orange flowers. It is a pretty small plant and probably best for pot culture than for the garden, where I grew mine for 4 years until surrounding plants outcompeted the available light source and it perished. I do not know what its parentage is, but based on the flowers alone, I would guess Aloe bakeri to be one of them.

Brass Hat is attributed to John Bleck of UCLA. Parentage listed as Pepe x bakerii.
