cactus embedded in porous rock

Not sure if this subject has been treated previously. Have been using a masonry drill to make cavities in porous rock for planting cacti for several years. One doesn't have to worry about over watering (5 feet of rainfall per annum here). I use a half inch bit and drill in several directions. I'd recommend this method for growers in wet but temperate areas.
