Hardy Cacti mix

#1

Post by SC FM »

Here is a picture of my grouping of Cacti. All quite hardy. They saw 5F on two occasions during the Arctic vortex years. Normally here we get into only the teens a few times each winter and above freezing with sunshine most days. There are three Trichocereus on right. The two largest are T. huasca, the smaller one I bought at Lowe's unidentified. Perhaps someone can ID it for me. If it were T. terscheckii, I would be elated! Farther to the left is Echinopsis Sp.? and far left is Echinocereus dasyacanthus, the pink flowering form. Behind those is Opuntia cacanapa Ellisiana or whatever they are calling it now. You can see where I have removed pads from the Opuntia to prevent shading of the cacti in front.
