Cactus at San Tan Mountain Regional Park

Post Number:#1  Postby toditd » Fri Oct 06, 2017 12:18 am

Just thought I'd share a few cactus photos from a short hike I took at San Tan Mountain Regional Park, just southeast of Phoenix, AZ on a hot, late summer September day.

Great shots, thanks for sharing!
Agave
"American aloe plant," 1797, from Greek Agaue, proper name in mythology (mother of Pentheus), from agauos "noble," perhaps from agasthai "wonder at".
