Agave 'Kichiokan' Kissho-Kan, Kijiokan flower????

As promised my friend John is back from Holidays and sent me a picture of his flowering agave.
Not too sure if the above names are AKA or misspelling of the same name. Please let me know what is the correct name.
Location Harare Zimbabwe. Hope you like it.

WoW! It hasn't actually started flowering yet. If possible, close ups of open blooms with (or without) a graduated ruler would be terrific when it does. But I have to say, that stalk and all the ancillaries are outrageous! Never seen anything quite like it.

These Agaves flower so rarely that I have heard knowledgeable folks forward a notion that they don't bloom at all.

Yes, a terrific and important documentation of the flowering event for this elusive to be seen blooming A. 'Kichijokan'. (A. 'Kissho Kan' is the variegated form). Please do add more pics as the blooming process unfolds.

It sure doesn't look like it to me.... :shock:
