Agave cernua

#1

Post by Luc »

I got this one as A. cernua which is the synonym of A. attenuata and which is obviously not.
It shares the look of the enigmatic A. boldinghiana and is able to withstand to light frost, -3/4°C.
Any ideas ?

Of those I have grown or seen it most closely resembles boldinghiana. Mine also took a few degrees of frost before flowering after just a short while. It produced lots of bulbils here but no seed. Some obscura I've seen are very similar but the teeth are not quite so pronounced on them. But there are more that I haven't seen or grown than I have seen or grown!
