Habitat: Project murpheyi

#1

Post by Gee.S »

Out to visit a couple sites of that most rare and elusive of the Arizona domesticate Agaves today, A. murpheyi, in hopes of (a) dramatically improving my collection of murpheyi photos and (b) finding some that are bolting, so we can return in a few weeks for bloom shots. Got some nice pics, but found no bloomers. We'll go out a couple times more in the coming days in search of same.

Cool shot of bulbils. I hope they all land, take root and multiply.
