pretty sure that is a synonym now for pachycladus. Nice plants.. in Arizona?

This plant is very commonly identified and sold under its synonym Pilosocereus azureus.
It is what it is!

I bought this as a 3" dish garden plant. Its been through it all...scalpers..then hired help girdled the trunk with a string trimmer and yet the plant did not die. Even the future is not so good...when an Avocado gets going that I planted means,this will need to be moved out of shade. I think they are not easy transplanters and for sure only do it in June to August. Warm with months of warm left.
