Trachycarpus fortunei hedge.

#1

Post by SC FM »

Here are two views of my back property line showing a line of Trachycarpus fortunei along the fence. I hope it will eventually make a tall hedge and block out neighbors view of deck and yard. They have been in ground for 4 years here from one and two gallon pots, some pots with two or three in pot. I counted and I think there were 53 total in the hedge. They finally are really taking off this summer. I do not fertilize or water; they just are on their own and seeming to be OK with that.
