Actinokentia divaricata

#1

Post by Geoff »

New Caledonian species with only 3-5 leaves at a time, the brand new one being a brilliant red-orange. Very tropical species with remarkable cold hardiness considering (down to 25F)... but one of the slowest growing palms on the planet when outside its tropical environment. Some seedlings may only produce a new leave every few years. Thin stem and bulbous crownshaft.
