aka Polyandrococos caudescens, which it was known as for years, but then reclassified with the Allagoptera a few decades ago. This palm is quite different from all the other Allagoptera being a pretty tall tree with flat leaflets and markedly powdery white leaf undersides. It can be grown in California in the warmer climates but tends to be a lot faster and somewhat nice looking in Hawaii.
