another relatively newly described species from Fiji, where it grows in the jungles as a mostly understory palm up to 25' or more. This palms leaves are bifid and a crown may have over a dozen such leaves making this an extraordinarily ornamental palm. As with C naboutinense, adult specimens of this species are rare or do not exists outside of Fiji (yet).
