variable clustering mid-sized Madagascan palm with yellow petioles and brown, fuzzy crownshafts. Plants tend to grow at angles even if the first trunk grows straight up, as if the successive trunks push the others off to the side a bit. Aside from the fuzzy brown parts, plants reminiscent of Dypsis lutescens with all yellow coloration and arching, recurved leaves and thin leaflets that fold over near the tips. Cold hardiness about 30F.
