Solitary to clustering (more often) large pinnate palm of Borneo, Thailand, Malaysia, Java and the Solomon Islands, where this palm is often used by local as a source of Sagu (hence the name, Sagu Palm... not be confused with the cycad by the same name). New leaves or mildly to brilliantly red. Very tropical looking (and cultivationally tropical as well). Grows up to 60'.
