Zamia furfuracea getting flushed

Post by Spination »

A new flush of leaves for this older plant, now a good 6 feet + across. The plant is very happy in a greenhouse additionally sheltered with overhead shade cloth, but unfortunately I have to spray the leaves weekly, because the hummingbirds like to crap all over it  ... I mean they like to rest on the leaves, and fertilize it (better - lol). D))

Looks great. You sure its not hardy in ground? I have one that was languishing in too much shade...planted it out front where all the old foliage died off last summer...now its returned. Its on the puny side..but healthy puny.
