Presumably a function of maturity, this S. patens looked like this a couple of months ago...

I've been watching this newest leaf developing with a lot more girth, and looks to be quite a bit thicker than previous leaves. I can only wonder in what way it will continue to grow. Looks a little weird compared to the tall slender leaves of the offset.
