Dracaena ombet Kotschy & Peyritsch 1867 Syn. Dracaena schizantha,
the Nubian Dragon Tree is similar to Dracaena serrulata but native to:
Djibouti; Egypt; Eritrea; Ethiopia; Saudi Arabia; Somalia and Sudan.
The world checklist of kew says that there are two subspecies of D. ombet
but maybe the Somali Dragon Tree does not seem possible to separate from
Dracaena ombet with type from Sudan.
