Beaucarnea guatemalensis

Beaucarnea guatemalensis Rose or Izote is a moderately branched treelike species with vertical branches. It
grows up to 39 ft. (11,5 m). The swollen base can reach 5 ft. (1,5 m) diameter.

Distribution: In forests of guatemala and parts of Honduras

Hardiness: much more cold hardy as B. recurvata
