Wanted - lots of stuff: some realistic, some not

#1

Post by Melt in the Sun »

I'm interested in trading for/buying the following. Trade list is here. Many of these I have no idea where I might find them, so if you know a source please tell me....

Agaves
- 'Blue Ember'
X - sebastiana
- wocomahi
- guadalajarana
- parryi v. truncata variegate
- pintilla

Yucca desmettiana
Yucca 'Nana'

Bulbs of all kinds, especially winter growers

Deuterocohnia species (any). These are available locally but only in huge pots for huge money...anyone want to just clip a couple for me?

Echeverias
- cante
- colorata
- imbricata
- runyonii (not topsy turvy)

Aloes. I know some of these are available through Arid Lands but I'd rather not do that. Some of these are probably impossible, but...
- betsileensis
- branddraaensis
- buhrii
- dhufarensis
- dinteri
X - elgonica
- excelsa
- falcata
- fosteri
- framesii
- gerstneri
X - glauca (spiny)
- immaculata
- lavranosii
- lineata v. muirii
- macrocarpa
X - mawii
- medishiana
- namibensis
X - peckii
- petricola
- petrophila
X - pratensis
- rubroviolacea
X - scobinifolia
- sheilae
- versicolor
- viguieri
- viridiflora

Danny-

I have scobinifolia, peckii, pratensis, glauca, elgonica, truncata variegated, and desmettiana.

I could use 'Beast', another 'Logan Calhoun' X lophantha, parviflora X maculata, Scilla peruviana, Ipheion 'Rolf Fiedler', and one each of your Echinopsis colors.

Shoot me an e-mail when you have a chance! D))

Agave pintilla is available from Arid Lands Greenhouses (http://aridlandswholesale.com/oscommerc ... s_id=11971" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
As is Agave sebastiana (http://aridlandswholesale.com/oscommerc ... s_id=12010" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

Thanks Mini me - I knew sebastiana was but hadn't noticed pintilla.

I'll probably make a trip there this fall sometime, after I see what this summer's failed experiments will be.

I'd also love Agave 'Rum Runner'. I just remembered I used to have one of these, and can't remember where it went......?

MITS, I got a Wocomahi from KLC and I think he may have more. I think I got his last guadalajarana though! If he is out of the Wocomahi, I have a little pup forming on the mother plant. It's a ways away from being separable, though. If you're still looking in several months let me know. Nice list. You have a lot of awesome trade bait, too.

I had 4 wocomahi I was willing to part with, 1 went to you Steph, the other 3 went to a new member in Colorado. I still have 2 more I was going to keep for myself but it doesn't matter, I'd let them go if someone was interested in them.

I was keeping the last guadalajarana for myself too, but someone wanted it so I let it go. No big deal.
