Stuff for sale
I have a reasonably large collection of assorted things, and some of those plants were a bit more exciting to me when I bought them than they are now. After recently selling a few plants for a decent amount of money and having a mass of potted trades/purchases that need ground space this fall, I'm looking around the yard thinking "what else would I not miss?" There may turn out to me more, but here are two for now.
Prices might be too high, since I can't find any reference for these plants in these sizes. If you think so let me know, you won't hurt my feelings...on the other hand if you think they're too low, I'd appreciate you telling me that too
They are both cool plants, I just think they would be better appreciated by someone else! They will be dug, washed, and shipped bareroot.
Agave 'Shiro Ito No Ohi', $250. 18-20" across. Bought from Greg Starr in a 4" pot and planted in ground in 2011. Perfectly healthy plant, oldest leaves have a few brown tips (as normal) and a tiny bit of faint spotting from running bugs long since eradicated. This would be a great plant in a prime spot in a raised bed or something...I just don't have such a spot. This is hardy to the mid-high teens - this one survived 15 unprotected in this spot, while it's potted twin died. Euphorbia virosa, $150. 10" tall with 7 or 8 branches that just formed this summer. Bought as a 2" seedling from Arid Lands in 2011 and planted in ground in fall of 2012. Slow plant that grows in bursts of bright red new spines that quickly brown, then weather to gray. And older picture showing the color is below the current one. It loves heat...this year has been its best, and the hottest in Tucson in 20+ years. According to Geoff this plant is hardy to the mid-20s or so. I have always covered it with a green frost cloth and never had damage. Cool plant but for me it doesn't make any impact in the yard.

Re: Stuff for sale
Good luck! I suggest more photos, whatever the limit is. From all angles and closeups of the core. This is especially helpful with higher value items. Photos with a yardstick are nice too.

Also putting this one up....
Agave victoriae-reginae variegate, $225. 12" wide and 9" high. Bought in 2010, had a brief stay in the ground, then has lived potted on my porch for about 7 years. An easily available plant, but not in this size!

Re: Stuff for sale
I am growing Echinopsis hybrids so would like to inquire about any Echinopsis you might still have available. New member. Gladly pay shipping or swap?
