Persian Sheild. Jumbo.

I truly thought this might die after last winter..near defoliated and some large stems died. It has come back far more then I ever would have guess. When July rolled around I started to fertilize it,those doses gave me this huge plant in a 12" square plastic pot. This "pot" was a left over used to make big cement piers. I found it in the vacant lot. So,with no drainage I drilled some holes in the bottom. Drainage is there, but slow..and wet loving tropicals love that.

Oop- I meant to post this in off topic. THIS is in now way a xeric plant.
