Kalanchoe rhombopilosa

Post by Diane »

I took a photo of this Kalanchoe rhombopilosa a few days ago for a different purpose, so thought I'd share it with you. It is a dainty, rather fragile plant hailing from Madagascar, but doesn't need high winter temps, will happily survive at 5C. I find it very slow growing (here in the UK), and it does have a tendency to drop leaves quite easily when handled - good propagation material! This is a descendant of a plant obtained over 30 years ago, and is a favourite of mine.
