From what I understand, this is hard species to keep looking good... the leggier it gets, the crappier, with the lower parts tending to rot away. Pretty sure in its native arid land (Namibia?) it is rarely moist enough to rot. Never seen a larger one than in these photos... probably a reason for that.
Geoff, your bottom pic looks like deceptor, but the upper two look like my Crassula cornuta. I know they are close...
One of these days I have to figure out sending pics.
Great! like I tell people with nice looking plants who ask me what they shoud be doing - "Just keep doing what you are doing." AKA if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Perhaps I am too picky about dry and wet seasons etc. I think a shallow pot may be a great advice.
