Cheiridopsis namaquensis

Tiny plant, no more than 3cm tall. Mat forming, large specimens will eventually fill a shallow 20-30cm pot. Winter grower,summer dormant. Faintly fragrant yellow flowers.

Is this an outdoors kept plant?
Hayward Ca. 75-80f summers,60f winters.

Mine is indoors for now. Even though they are recorded hardy to -2°C/30°F, I would be reluctant to establish them outside until they had grown to an established clump and could take the random abuse nature throws. Well drained soil and half day sun seem to be key. As per indoor space issues, these are fairly slow growing and will tend to stay small in a small pot until you want them to get bigger.
