Likes Arizona, but not the sun over 105 F. Probably more of a problem of not liking the soil heating up. I always move it into morning sun only, during hotter months.

Hayward Ca. 75-80f summers,60f winters.

This is the original plant in this thread showing its growth over the 6 years I've had it. All this time it's in all-mineral soil matrix, no organic matter.
