maximilliana pups for ?
Have 7 maximilliana pups that I don't want to bring in for the winter. Original plant was a Shady Oaks TC that pupped profusely in an overcrowded pot. the plants are now growing out of their stringy crowded condition as you can see in the pic. Am looking for A. montana and anything interesting hardy to 8a. Thanks

Do the Agave maximiliana is supposed to grow pups? Mine is still a solitary rosette since I got it 6 or 7 years ago.

Re: maximilliana pups for ?
they are not supposed to make pups but this is a tissue cultured plant from shady oaks nursery. Some of the TC plants don't behave as they should. For example I have Agave ovatifolia adult plants that have never made a pup and recently purchased presumed TC plants one of which pupped. You bring up a good point and one that has probably resulted in few takers of these pups. thanks

Still have two Maximilliana if anyone's interested. 8a hardy bromeliads like dyckia or puya for instance would be interesting if you have extra?

Do you still have the 2 last pups or possibly new ones? Can pay cash or give a list of trades if set on that.
