Here are two bromeliads that I’m having a hard time identifying. 1 & 2 are of an offset from a friend. He wasn’t sure but thought it could be an Alcantarea? Large, about 18” tall by 30” wide for the largest rosette, just saw the bloom today . The last is much smaller 7” high by 9” for th largest rosette, a rescue that has greened up nicely after I found the right spot for it. The blooms are not tall (maybe from under watering on the large one and perhaps too much sun as well), the flowers seem very similar.

The one in the first two is an Aechmea (Alcantarea are all spineless), might be Ae. phanerophlebia or Ae. distichantha. The second one is Aechmea recurvata.
