I have three Plumeria grown from cuttings and last summer was their first try at blooming. It came late in summer and just as the buds were ready to unfurl, the cold of late December got them. Only, the bloom stalks did not die. In fact I see what looks to be replacement flowers forming on those stalks.
I've had a Plumeria Celadine for decades and it's like a 4' Bonsai. These new plants grow like rockets by comparison. I should plant one in ground they seem so much better than Celadine in its 15 gallon pot.
Plumeria bloom on old bloom stalks?
