Nice!

It is funny, mine are all back to leaf-less now that it has gotten hot. We had our first full week of 100+ F here, topped out at 108F, going back down to high 90s, they say, on Monday, but then 114F later in the week - which is no fun no matter how you look at it, 108 I can sort of stand to be outside in and even work in as long as it is in the shade, 114 I just want to hide inside.

Most plants have developed the WTF look.
It is what it is!

Spotted this today at a nursery. Apparently these are grown on a lot in Yuma somewhere:

If I spent that much on a plant, I'd end up living in a hotel somewhere while the divorce was pending.

My babies. I hope my grandchildren will see them develop a trunk. I mean a stout, proper one.

Good question Carlos. I don't know the answer, but from what I have read about them they are S L O W growers and with decent conditions they grow maybe 2" or so per year. Seems we are looking at very old plants! [quote=Carlos post_id=58039 time=1614420502 user_id=1790]

Apparently in the ground in a hot climate they can really pick up pace as they get bigger. Look at post #36 from Minime8484 on this link
