Central Cal coast dudleyas in habitat
Snapped a few shots of dudleya caespitosa in sand dune habitat along the north central California coast. These are just a stone's throw from the beach. This area features restored native vegetation as well as wild flora that has received no human assistance. These dudleyas are successfully continuing to colonize, despite the often overwhelming presence of carpobrotus edulis.

Eriogonum latifolium and lupinus arboreus are also prevalent in this area, and many seedlings appear amongst the scrub this time of year, especially after the heavy rains we've had this winter.
