Opuntia humifusa or macrorhiza?

My parents have always tried to kill the cactus on their property but it keeps surviving on the fence line. They dug a bunch of it up for a fence rebuild recently so I collected it to pot up and take to a a plant swap in a couple months. While I was at it I also took some from a separate cluster on a fence on opposite side of property where they mow and the mower is constantly hitting it.

I thought most of the cactus here was humifusa, but looking on inaturalist there's a lot of macrorhiza and I can't tell a difference.
