Agave oteroi
So I got this nice agave oteroi I pulled feom
My mother plant a couple of years back from original Felipe otero lineage . There always been alot of people looking for this particular . I’ve been kind of out of the agave scene for a bit started dabbling in some other plants . But I’m ready to get rid of one of these . Shoot me an offer located in Riverside California willing to ship it as well. Included is a picture
Of the mother plant .

Sideways Photos
It's an iPhone bug. If you're going to up snaps directly from your phone, easiest way to avoid this is to upload landscapes rather than portraits. It is usually portraits that fall over sideways.

Not edited/fixed yet? OK, sideways snaps removed. You can always repost.
BTW, the agave in your first snap of the OP looks to have a pretty bad agave mite infestation.

Re: Agave oteroi
Oh that was agave mite 100%. I'll guess at this point that you didn't treat. It is almost always stressed agaves that succumb to eriophyid mite infestations. Improve their condition (remove the stress), and agaves can beat these infections back without intervention, which it appears your plant has done. You're lucky. In my experience, that doesn't happen all that often in cultivation, since since the act of cultivation itself often serves as the source of stress.

It looks like you've got it figured out, but if you ever have the problem again - on my phone, which is a Google pixel, if a photo is not uploading right I take a screenshot of it or edit it and resave it and then upload that new copy and it worksMockingbirdAgaves wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 10:15 am Trying to post the baby that’s for sale but every time I do it. even in portrait it comes in the preview rotated .

Re: Agave oteroi
As I had said, it is the portraits that are problematic.MockingbirdAgaves wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 10:15 am Trying to post the baby that’s for sale but every time I do it. even in portrait it comes in the preview rotated .

On the I-Phone any crop will correct the flip caused by the website.
