My C.circinalis never did flush all last summer. So I got proactive today. I cut off all those 2-3 year old leaves looking ratty and moved a big pot of Fireball Neoregelia away so that sun could hit the base and soil of the Cycads container aka the clawfoot bathtub. I think removing all the fronds is sort of common? I've seen the Sherman gardens large and old C.circinalis or rumphii have that same thing done- all leaves removed. Plus hot afternoon sun is going to warm the trunk better.
I've got my old if common Cycads on my mind.
Removing Cycads leaves to force a flush.

As long as your warm enough for it to flush. Cycas are relatively easy, but I have Dioon including a spinulosum that hasn’t flushed in a couple years. Probably the slowest of all(for me) is Macrozamia. Beyond seedling size they seem to do nothing.
