Ceiba insignis
Seedlings germinated mid-April 2022. Looking good so far, but what do I know? I plan on moving them outside this fall, once temperatures fall a bit...

Re: Ceiba insignis
No need to wait that long. These trees do most of their growth when it's hot. Give them a little shade to keep the leaves from wilting in the full sun until they're around 6' tall. I'm going to plant 2 that are 3-5 ft. high in the next week or 2 in nearly all day sun.
The only problem I've had with mine are that the leaf cutter ants are wild about them (just the leaves).
Good luck with your good looking seedlings!

Very nice Melt and thank you. I use to grow these years ago. Would be perfect in today's hot weather. JkwMelt in the Sun wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 4:48 pm Seedlings germinated mid-April 2022.
