Is this a particular varietal of this k. stapeliiformis? For lack of better terms, I'm used to seeing the commonly cultivated form that looks like asparagus spears. This is the first plant I've seen that actually earns the stapelia distinction. It's awesome.

Came from Kew Gardens so good provenance.
It’s not the easiest to grow and loses it’s roots a lot but cuttings are easy to root so I haven’t lost it yet.

Here’s an up to date picture and you can see I’ve switched to a pan instead of a pot and it seems much happier as it allows the underground growth more room to develop.
