Aloe vaombe from leaf cutting?

#1

Post by cerg »

Dear all,

Thank you very much for allowing me to register.

Has anyone ever tried to reproduce Aloe vaombe from a leaf cutting? Does it work?

I broke a leaf from my Aloe vombe because of having two left feet, and I am trying to find a silver lining!

Kind Regards

Some people say you can - almost always the 'leaves' have a good chunk of stem material attached, which is where the roots will come from so unless you broke it off that way I doubt it will work.
It is what it is!
