Thank you, sir! Those are Euphorbia royleana and Pachycereus gatesii.
The royleanna is a 4 y/o cutting from a very large plant I have in a 24" pot.

Beautiful Ron. What is the 3rd picture first post and first picture second post please?
Here is my big E. royleana, the source of the cutting previously shown. Big plant in a big pot.

The weather here in Haysticks is ..kidding. Everything looks great. It's one thing to be growing plants, but growing them to near perfection is another. Nice that you also don't have to trim off Agave leaves that block some walkway. Even botanical gardens do that. Love them Ferocactus. I have one- one I posted here a few years ago and its in stasis seemingly. Not enough heat or wants an oversized pot?
Congrats!
Wet and looking good. Rain in Fountain Hills in July, really? I did not think that water will be headed your way at this time of the year. My late spring/early summer experience of touring the Phoenix area suggested excessive heat till the end of August. It is nice to be proven wrong. The plants are in fine form as usual, coming especially as someone who had the great pleasure of visiting the garden around a few years ago, and yes enjoying the fabulous collection of succulents. Thank you Ron. Jkw
It has been pretty unusual three days in a row where the highs were around 80. On Friday it did not even get above 80... where I am at we got about 2.75 - 3" of rain so far, it is petering out though, tomorrow back in the high 90s... However, a very welcome mid summer cool down.
The predictions are that it is going to be crazy hot in most of the US, with AZ as one of the few states that will be at average or below... Sucks for everyone else, but after last summer I think we will take it.

Beauty of that is I don't grow 'em at all. They just grow themselves here.

Not a lot. Filifera, vilmoriniana, sobria rosanna, sobria frailensis, zebra, xylonacantha, and a couple felgeri stalks shooting up now.

Sweet utahensis clump I've had for years. Has recently been hiding under a very large A. zebra, which has now bloomed, so I cut a couple leaves off to expose the utahensis.

They're all on drip. Typically run it once per week thru summer.

A couple shots from the Back 40.... The colorata has a small offset hiding back there.
Hey McV! Need some agaves for around the pool in back? I have a veritable forest (50+) of these vilmoriniana variegates.
