Re: The All New Official "I Have Pollen" Thread
Stalk emerging or flowers starting?
I've got A. nizandensis that should be popping flowers open any day now. I have some mangave pollen in the fridge that's a couple weeks old...hopes are not high. If anything else is out there I'd love to know!

There may be some ploidy issues there, and you may wind up with bulbils.

I tried hybridizing Nova with a similar cultivar, A. angustifolia, and lots of seed was produced, but it was 100% inviable.

Is that a subulata on the left of the last pic? that will keep the bipedal vermin away!

I have variegated desmettiana pollen if this thing is still going. Am going to freeze some for later possibilities here this spring. My zebra has been throwing those little flower stalks around its base since late last summer.

It would be interesting to see if you actually get viable pollen from that weberi. I had multiple regular weberi's bloom and none ever produced pollen that I was able to harvest.
It is what it is!

I don't intend to hybridize my agaves personally, but only offer pollen.
